Results of The Khmer Language Examination At Wat Phum Thom Pagoda

This week at Wat Phum Thom Pagoda the first test for Khmer language was undertaken by the abbots. The exam tested over 70 students for an accumulated knowledge that took three months of studies. These studies were afforded by the summer break in the national school. That the exam had taken place this week while the return to national school from break is also taking place this week is no coincidence.

The exam had brought many exciting awards for our dedicated students to supplement for their return to the national school. The top 3rd students are as follows:

Lam Danh took first place in writing and reading,
Thi Mom took second place in writing and reading,
Lam Knuch took third place in writing and reading.

The abbot reward our top students with additional school materials to support their return to national school and our first place winner, Lam Danh was rewarded a brand new bicycle!
